Taylor Hopkinson is searching for an experienced Senior Project Development Manager to join a global leading renewable energy developer and investor company in Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Pinpoint potential projects that have appropriate solar resources, access to electrical transmission, and suitable site features.
- Develop and oversee project development budgets and forecasts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as politicians, regulatory bodies, and utility companies.
- Negotiate and handle contracts with developers.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Legal, Engineering, Project Finance, and EPC.
- Secure land rights necessary to design, permit, build, operate, and maintain solar power projects.
- Oversee the permitting process at the state, federal, and regional levels for solar facilities.
- Engage in negotiations for interconnection agreements.
- Supervise environmental studies.
- Direct the creation of proposals to be submitted to utilities.
- Assist in the financial analysis and modeling of the project.
- Deliver regular updates to management through pipeline updates, project status reports, and other documentation.
- Continually research the energy market and its competitors.
- Ensure effective and continuous communication with the cross-functional team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a similar discipline; preference for those with a Master’s degree.
- Solid experience in project development within the renewable energy sector.
- A collaborative individual with excellent communication abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on, and motivated approach.
- Prior experience in a diverse, multicultural setting is desirable.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Openness and ability to travel as needed.
