Taylor Hopkinson is looking for a Senior PV Project Engineer to join an important company in the renewable energy sector.
As a Senior PV Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the implementation of solar photovoltaic systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design solar photovoltaic systems considering factors such as location, solar radiation, shading, and optimal panel orientation to meet clients’ electrical requirements.
- Evaluate technical and economic feasibility, assessing energy performance, investment costs, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee solar panel installation, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality assurance.
- Conduct performance tests and commissioning of solar PV systems, optimizing parameters for efficiency.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in solar photovoltaic system design and implementation, particularly focusing on self-consumption projects for B2B clients.
- Proficient in software tools including AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVsol, and Microsoft Office suite.
