Senior Recruitment Specialist – London

Taylor Hopkinson has been exclusively retained to source a Senior Recruitment Specialist for an exciting opportunity with a leading renewable energy company. Our client is looking for someone who can influence daily operations, ensure a steady pipeline of resources for customers’ business requirements and collaborate with over with other offices across the globe. This is a full-time position in London.

The Responsibilities:

  • Support team to develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and hire top technician talent in alignment with company and customer objectives.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Coordinators, and Commercial teams, in terms of identifying suitable technical resources.
  • Act as the experienced lead in recruitment and screening of candidates based on sourcing requirements.
  • Work closely with team lead, commercial team, and operations team to understand technical requirements to facilitate successful placements.
  • Support fellow team members as the first port of call for guidance, mentoring and support on recruitment queries.
  • Registration and maintenance of relevant candidates
  • Building, updating, and maintaining our resource database.
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, reflecting values and culture of the company.
  • Maintaining agreements with sub-suppliers on recruitment
  • Preparing and posting job advertisements
  • Be active and strategic in sourcing of candidates through various channels.
  • Continuously identify improvements and opportunities in the recruitment process
  • Supporting lead tasks such as delegating tasks within the Recruitment team, ensuring that recruitment processes are continually monitored and improved, and achieving set tasks and KPIs.

The Requirements:

  • Relevant education with Communications, Human Resource Management, or similar.
  • Proven experience as a senior recruitment specialist or similar, preferably in the wind turbine or renewable energy industry
  • Experience with recruitment, branding, can lead a team as a senior member.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing, proactive and can deliver quality under pressure.
  • Relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Experience working in MS Office.
  • Technical background or understanding of technical skills is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • English skills must be B2 or higher.
