Senior Project Planner required for a major carbon capture storage project based in the Netherlands
Responsibilities
- Drafting, updating, and managing project schedules in Primavera, including translation of the risks over time.
- Setting up and adjusting part of project schedules of one or more projects in the planning application Oracle Primavera Cloud.
- Monitoring and driving that the right data and information is delivered in a timely manner for progress and impact analysis.
- Testing the (probabilistic) schedules of external parties against established planning management requirements.
- Providing planning support during Tender evaluations and contract negotiations.
- Being able to monitor and validate sub-areas such as engineering and implementation by means of, among other things, substantive knowledge.
- Being able to develop planning and progress control in close collaboration with the project control colleagues.
- Be able to create transparency and overview with clear planning visuals and dashboard reports.
Requirements
- Ba+/ Academic working and thinking level.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in planning complex infrastructural/industrial complex projects, including demonstrable offshore planning experience.
- Experience with probabilistic planning, critical path analysis and risk management.
- You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with the planning application Primavera and preferably Oracle Primavera Cloud.
- Competence to dissect complex issues and reduce them to critical details, and the persuasive and professional attitude needed to achieve the best project results together with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in engineering, management, legal, and environmental management.
- Ability to summarize and present complex information to colleagues and management in a concise and clear manner.
- A positive, critical, flexible, and proactive attitude.
- Willingness to travel to the various project locations.
