Project Manager required for a major Carbon & Capture Storage project based in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise for geophysical and geotechnical surveys, UXO surveys, and uxo identification and clearance works in German and Dutch offshore projects.
- You ensure and check project documentation, data quality, and monitor changes to plans in all project phases.
- Act as technical support in tendering, negotiating and contracting in the field of offshore survey and explosive ordnance clearance.
- Coordinate and brief client representatives, control the works on site on the vessel or local site offices, as well as cooperate closely with all companies involved in a project on technical level.
- Support the project management for cable installation with expertise on the ground (burial assessment) and in the documentation of post installations surveys, as well as final as laid documentation.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree (Master/Bachelor) in survey, geophysics, geology;
- Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification.
- Profound working experience in the field of offshore survey, preferably UXO survey, offshore experience, and offshore aptitude. This is a must.
- Sound experience with ArcGIS or equivalent geographic information systems. This is a must. Preferably also Autocad.
- You show independence, initiative, and the ability to work in a team. This is for you just as natural as strong communication skills and very good English skills. Dutch language skills are an advantage.
- Willing to travel.
