Taylor Hopkinson is supporting a leading provider of large-bore diesel engines, turbo-machinery for marine and stationary applications find a Technical Support Marine based from their Antwerp office.
Responsible for ensuring support to our Service Engineers, Superintendent Engineers and customers with technical questions and the execution of complex technical projects to guarantee an efficient and high quality service that supports the customer in the long term.
Fulltime, permanent position.
Your role:
- Provide technical advice, both internally and externally.
- Collect and analyse information related to potential projects.
- Spread relevant information to the colleagues involved.
- Create concept reports together with the technical manager.
- Review and approve technical reports of the Service Engineers and Superintendent Engineers.
- Collect and share technical knowledge related to the MAN ES BE product portfolio.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Good technical and practical knowledge of 2-stroke marine engines, 4-stroke marine engines and turbochargers (axial and radial types) is essential.
- Highly developed administrative skills and a detail-oriented work style.
- Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English.
- You are living in the Antwerp region.
- Skilled in effective communication across divers cultures and environments.
- To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
