Senior Associate, Infrastructure/Renewable Energy Investments
Location: Kuala Lumpur
A leading global renewable energy investment platform is looking for a Senior Associate to join its investment team in Southeast Asia. This role will focus on originating, evaluating, and executing greenfield renewable energy opportunities across the region, with exposure to the full investment lifecycle from development to exit.
What you’ll do
- Support investment origination and commercial structuring
- Lead financial analysis and modelling
- Drive due diligence, project development and financing workstreams
- Work closely with advisors (legal, technical, financial)
- Prepare investment papers, presentations and market analysis
- Mentor analysts and contribute to team development
We’re looking for
- 3-6 years’ experience in investment, corporate finance or project finance
- Strong analytical ability and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Experience in renewables or infrastructure is an advantage
- Fluency in English; Southeast Asian language skills are a plus
