Our client is a Japanese corporation in the renewable energy sector, managing portfolio of large scale offshore wind developments.
We are seeking a motivated Accounting & Treasury professional at either the Junior or Senior Associate level to help drive this exciting transformation.

Job Requirements:

Financial Control: Review and verify monthly, quarterly, and annual close deliverables, ensuring absolute accuracy under Japanese GAAP.

Tax & Audit Support: Coordinate with external tax advisors on corporate and consumption tax data verification, and act as a key contact for internal/external audits.

Treasury & Payments: Perform control and validation checks over vendor and intercompany payment processes.

FP&A Insight: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting variance analysis against actual performance to guide senior leadership decision-making.
Experience Needed:
- Native Japanese / Japanese proficiency is mandatory for this role

5 to 10 years of practical experience in corporate accounting, finance, or audit roles (either in-house or within a professional firm).
- Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: accounting close, payments, tax, or budget management

Solid foundational understanding of Japanese GAAP (exposure to IFRS is a strong plus).

Core Competencies: Advanced Excel skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a naturally control-oriented mindset. You should be confident in auditing and reviewing financial data.
