Cable Package Manager – Taiwan

Opportunity Overview

Are you a senior subsea cable specialist looking for your next major package management challenge in Asia’s most established offshore wind market?

On behalf of a leading regional Renewable Energy Developer (backed by a top-tier US infrastructure investment fund), we are seeking an experienced Cable Package Manager to join their project team in Taipei, Taiwan.

In this pivotal role, you will hold end-to-end accountability for the offshore cable package across the entire project lifecycle-from early-stage concept development, commercial negotiations, and procurement, through to offshore execution, T&I, and final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lifecycle Management: Lead and deliver the complete Cable Package (Inter-array / Export Cables) on time, within budget, and to the highest HSE and quality standards.

• Commercial & Procurement: Drive technical scope definitions, evaluate supplier proposals, and lead contract negotiations alongside legal and commercial teams.

• Package Delivery & Interface: Oversee cable design, manufacturing, transport, loading, termination, and testing activities; manage complex technical interfaces with other packages and contractors.

• On-site Supervision & Quality: Represent the developer during design and execution phases, leading site inspections, defect assessments, and contractor compliance.

• Safety Leadership: Champion a zero-harm safety culture across internal teams, cable suppliers, and T&I contractors.

Candidate Profile

• Industry Experience: Proven track record in managing offshore subsea cable packages (array or export) within the Offshore Wind (OWF) sector.

• Commercial & Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of cable manufacturing, T&I contracts, procurement strategies, and technical interface management.

• Full Lifecycle Exposure: Hands-on experience spanning early concept/permitting through to offshore installation and commissioning.

• Leadership & Resilience: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead international contractors and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Mobility: Open to relocating to Taipei, Taiwan (Expat package / Relocation assistance provided).
