Commercial Tender Manager
European company experiencing strong growth and active in industrial decarbonization, our client designs, builds, operates, and finances behind-the-meter energy solutions (PV, storage, e-mobility, wind, heat). With a rapidly expanding portfolio and the execution of large-scale industrial projects, our client is now strengthening its team and recruiting a Commercial Tender Manager. The role is based in Ghent, Belgium.
- Responsibilities:
Tender Management
- Oversee the preparation and submission of EPC/PPA bids.
- Coordinate inputs from internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Legal).
- Analyse tender documents, define strategy, and perform risk assessments.
- Contribute to technical scope, cost estimation, and commercial decision-making.
Process Management
- Structure and standardise the tender organisation.
- Manage and improve tools and platforms.
Continuous Improvement
- Optimise processes to increase win rates and reduce turnaround times.
- Organise lessons learned and share insights across teams.
- Profile:
- Proven experience with large projects (from €1 million) in France, Germany and the Benelux.
- Minimum 5 years in an international commercial role, ideally in renewable energy or construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance with technical affinity, or an engineering degree with commercial skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and organisational rigour.
- Fluent in English and French; Dutch/German is a plus.
