Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial contracts for the Certified Verification Agent (CVA) during design, fabrication, transport, and installation activities.

  • Coordinate certification processes for offshore assets (cables, substations, foundations, wind turbine generators).

  • Oversee preparation and federal review of facility as-builts, critical safety systems, commissioning reports, and fabrication/installation reports per 30 CFR Part 285.

  • Collaborate with environmental permitting teams to maintain technical consistency across federal and state permits.

  • Review schedules to identify regulatory milestones and ensure timely submissions.

  • Evaluate certification audit and inspection reports; recommend and implement corrective actions.

  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory and certification standards.

  • Coordinate document reviews and site inspections with the CVA for each work package.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of project management experience (preferably in energy or transmission industries).

  • Strong knowledge of 30 CFR Part 285 regulations.

  • Experience with offshore renewable energy or other regulated infrastructure projects.

  • Proficiency with document control systems and project scheduling tools.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
