Contracts Manager, Offshore Wind

Company Overview

Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with a consulting company for offshore wind industry in Korea.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the tender strategy and ensuring it is aligned with the overall Package/ Project Procurement Strategy.
  • Responsible for the commercial part of tenders, including conditions of the contract and the tendering process.
  • Engaging with Package/Project Managers and Engineering team members to ensure that tender and contract terms match scope and deliverable requirements.
  • Assessing and benchmarking tender offers.
  • Leading the negotiations team during negotiations with bidders and Engaging with Legal when needed on tendering and contract issues.

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years relevant working experience within the field of offshore wind or other energy/infrastructure projects.
  • Hands-on experience as contract/commercial manager during development and construction phases of projects.
  • First-hand industry knowledge and experience working with offshore foundation supply, and transport and installation contractors.
  • Proficient in commercial tender negotiation and understanding of project phases, typical stakeholders and the scope of work involved with infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation associated with construction projects.
