Taylor Hopkinson is supporting an international company operating in the renewable energy sector in the search for an experienced Employment & Labour Law Consultant to support its Italian operations on a three-month project.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update employment contracts to ensure compliance with Italian labour law and applicable CCNL.
- Review and advise on the practical application of CCNL provisions, employment rights and contractual obligations.
- Provide ongoing employment law advice to the People Team and local management.
- Develop practical guidelines and recommendations to improve HR processes and ensure compliance.
- Review current benefits and employment policies, identifying gaps against Italian market practices.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to the internal People Team to ensure sustainable management of employment-related matters.
Requirements
- Law degree or similar.
- Significant experience in Italian Employment & Labour Law, gained either within a leading law firm, professional services firm or as an in-house legal counsel.
- Strong knowledge of Italian employment legislation and CCNLs.
- Experience supporting companies on employment law compliance and HR-related legal matters.
- Strong understanding of the practical application of Italian labour legislation within an international corporate environment.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear, practical and business-oriented recommendations.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a project with defined objectives and deadlines.
- Fluent English and Italian, both written and spoken, is essential due to the international nature of the organisation.
