ESS Sales Engineer – Italy

Taylor Hopkinson is supporting a global leader in energy storage solutions in the search for a Sales Engineer based in Milan. The role will focus on expanding the company’s international energy storage activities and driving commercial growth in overseas markets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial negotiations during tendering processes, including contract terms, pricing strategy, and bid execution.
  • Prepare and structure internal pricing proposals, ensuring alignment between engineering, sales, and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate quotation processes and order tracking for customer sample requests to ensure timely project delivery and annual sales targets are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for energy storage clients, handling daily communication, customer visits, and long-term relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Prior exposure to new energy, EV, or energy storage sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proactive and commercially driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes.
  • Fluent in English and in Italian.
