HSE Advisor – Senior required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and mobilizing projects and suppliers for safe execution including developing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
- Proactively supporting the client safety culture through offshore presence, inspections, emergency drills and exercises from vessels and turbines.
- Investigating incidents and ensuring correct registrations to our incident management system to apply learning across our business.
- Identifying and assessing opportunities for standardisation, as well as procedural and design improvements and consequently running these improvement projects.
- Supporting the projects with the development and implementation of UK emergency response performance standards and related assurance activities, including facilitation of HAZID sessions.
Requirements:
- Familiar with running small projects.
- Experience of working in a complex corporate environment and where your priorities for the week can shift due to change in project plans.
- Experience from working in offshore environments, both O&G as well as wind, and are willing to travel to operational offshore sites in the UK.
- Hold a full GWO including Enhanced First Aid for offshore wind and a OGUK medical certificate including chester step.
- Possess a technical background, and preferably have a NEBOSH general certificate, as a minimum.
- Possess high HSE risk management competencies and have worked with bowties, barrier management, performance standards and assurance activities.
- Experience in facilitating HAZIDs.
- Proactive approach to risk management.
- Maintain successful cooperation / collaboration with the HSE stakeholders.
