VP of Capital Markets / Fundraising

Exciting opportunity to join a well-established global owner operator on their Investments team, focused on raising funds and executing transactions.

Focused on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects with a global remit (North America, Asia-Pacific).

• Seeking senior candidates in Orange County, California.

• Role:
  • Reporting into the Director of Investments. Supporting transactions across the United States, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
  • Role created out of growth.
  • Key responsibilities:
    • Lead fund / project level fundraising.
    • Develop and manage relationships across breadth of partners and funds.
    • Structure and execute GP-LP fundraises, investments, project / preferred equity, capital solutions.
    • Presentations / pitch decks for a range of stakeholders.
    • Coordinate fund structuring, tax equity / leverage / project finance strategies, and legal / tax / regulatory considerations.
    • Lead negotiations on term sheets, LPAs, and other letters / agreements.
    • Represent the company globally.
  • Key Requirements:
    • Seeking professionals with upwards of 8 years of experience depending on the candidate.
    • Must have some experience in the renewable energy industry in a similar capacity.
    • PE / Infra PE / PF experience
    • Relationships with funds, LP (Limited Partners)s
    • Proven track record of closing fundraises / large equity rounds
    • Strong understanding of infra fund structures, renewable project economics, risk allocation, return profiles
    • Ability to work across cultures
