Investment Associate

Our client is a regional investment platform in renewable energy, and is looking for an Investment Associate to join its Taipei team. You will work alongside senior investment professionals on the evaluation and execution of renewable energy projects, from early-stage opportunities through to operating assets.

What you will do

• Build and review financial models and valuations, including DCF
• Carry out due diligence and market research on potential investments
• Draft investment committee papers and presentations
• Support deal execution with internal teams, advisors and counterparties
• Help monitor the performance of existing portfolio projects

What we are looking for

• 2-5 years of experience in private equity, principal investments, investment banking, corporate finance advisory or project finance; infrastructure exposure is a plus
• Strong financial modelling skills and a solid grasp of accounting principles
• Understanding of renewable energy or infrastructure economics, ideally including experience taking a project to financial close
• Excellent written and verbal English; you will work with colleagues across the region
• Master’s degree or professional qualification (CPA / CFA) preferred
• Well organised, collaborative and calm under pressure
