Grid Planner for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Germany
Responsibilities
- Project management and coordination of internal and external service providers.
- Planning the electrical and communications connections for wind farm and solar park projects.
- Securing grid connection points, obtaining and updating reservations.
- Negotiating with energy suppliers regarding potential (optimized) grid connection points and communications connections.
- Coordination and monitoring of the construction of the electrical infrastructure of wind/solar parks.
- Support and management of the structural planning of substations and transfer station.s
- Construction management of substations and grid infrastructure.
- Preparation and processing of tender documents.
EXPERIENCE
- Completed degree (master’s/diploma) in civil engineering, electrical engineering, project management, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in network planning in the field of renewable energies
- Experience in managing external service providers
- Negotiation skills, confident and assured manner, independence
