Offshore Substation Engineering Manager for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Poland
Responsibilities
- Lead the OSP engineering team and manage all design and technical activities across disciplines (electrical, structural, mechanical, HVAC, SCADA, protection & control).
- Lead the design review and approval process for high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems, including primary and secondary equipment.
- Interface with design teams on systems such as transformers, switchgear, protection and control, SCADA, auxiliary power, and earthing.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet project specifications, certification, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage design contractors, consultants, and verification bodies
- Oversee detailed design for primary systems (transformers, switchgear, busbars, earthing, and cable systems) and secondary systems (protection, control, communications, SCADA, and auxiliary power).
- Lead design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP workshops, and risk assessments.
- Act as the main point of contact for all OSP engineering matters within the project
