Project Manager – Renewable Energy

An international renewable energy company is looking for a Project Manager to support the final development phase of utility-scale renewable energy projects and later transition into a project management role during construction.

The position offers the opportunity to work on a growing portfolio of solar PV, BESS and wind projects, supporting projects from development through execution.

Responsibilities

Project Development Support

  • Support the development of renewable energy projects, including BESS, wind and utility-scale solar PV.

  • Review technical documentation, grid connection conditions, layouts and development assumptions.

  • Conduct technical feasibility assessments and identify engineering, construction and execution risks.

  • Coordinate with external developers, consultants, technical advisors and grid operators.

  • Support project optimization activities during the development phase.

Engineering & EPC Coordination

  • Participate in technical discussions with EPC contractors, OEMs and engineering consultants.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of technical specifications, scopes of work and tender documentation.

  • Provide engineering input on CAPEX estimates, project schedules and execution strategies.

  • Support technical due diligence activities related to project acquisitions.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with development, legal, finance and technical teams.

  • Support permitting activities and grid-related discussions from a technical perspective.

  • Participate in meetings, negotiations and site visits.

  • Monitor technical workstreams and project progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.

  • Experience in utility-scale solar PV, BESS and/or wind projects.

  • Strong engineering background with practical understanding of project execution and construction.

  • Experience in project development is highly desirable.

  • Ability to review technical documentation and identify project risks.

  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, consultants and external partners.

  • Knowledge of grid connection processes and renewable project lifecycles.

  • Project management experience is considered an advantage.

  • Native-level local language skills and fluent English.

  • Proactive, hands-on approach and strong communication skills.
