Exciting opportunity to join a quickly growing electric transmission infrastructure developer and owner/operator as a Senior Counsel, Regulatory & Development.
Summary
- Business critical role focused on large-scale multi-billion dollar transmission infrastructure projects across New York and the Eastern United States.
- Legal experience related to transmission or energy infrastructure permitting and development is required.
- Experience working with New York State and Federal agencies is a must-have, including but not limited to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the New York Public Service Commission (NY PSC), the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), and other key agencies / stakeholders.
- Experience with Article VIII Applications (“Siting of Renewable Energy and Electric Transmission”) and additional permitting as required from federal, state, and municipal authorities, is required.
- JD From accredited law school required.
- License to practice law in New York required.
