We are seeking a skilled and Senior PPA Negotiation to join our client’s team in Madrid.

Role Overview

Join a leading player in the energy sector and play a key role in shaping long-term power offtake strategies in Spain.

We are looking for a Senior PPA Negotiation Specialist to strengthen our commercial capabilities and lead complex PPA transactions. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone with strong experience negotiating Power Purchase Agreements and a deep understanding of the Spanish energy market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end negotiation of physical and financial PPAs with utilities, corporates, traders, and other offtakers.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle: structuring, negotiation, drafting, and execution.
  • Provide commercial insights on pricing, market trends, and regulatory changes in Spain.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, technical, financial, and development teams.
  • Act as a key reference point internally for PPA structuring and negotiation strategy.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of independent PPA negotiation experience in Spain.
  • Proven track record of closing PPA agreements end-to-end.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish energy market, pricing, and regulation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to own deals from start to finish.
