Role Overview

A leading international renewable energy developer is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Onshore Renewables to support the delivery of projects across Southeast and North Asia. The role sits within a central project delivery function and will take responsibility for managing projects through the full lifecycle, from late-stage development through execution and commercial operation or transaction exit.

This position is well suited to an experienced project professional who has operated in regional roles, managing complex renewable or infrastructure projects across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of onshore renewable projects from development through execution and handover to operations or sale.

  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across development, engineering, construction, commercial and finance functions.

  • Assess project feasibility, key risks and mitigation strategies alongside internal teams and external advisors.

  • Support commercial structuring, contract negotiations and engagement with local partners.

  • Provide oversight during construction to ensure delivery in line with schedule, budget and quality targets.

  • Manage relationships with key external stakeholders including investors, lenders, authorities and project partners.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree-qualified in engineering, business or a related discipline.

  • Strong experience delivering renewable energy or infrastructure projects on an end-to-end basis.

  • Solar project experience is preferred, though candidates from wind or wider infrastructure backgrounds will also be considered.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different countries and cultures.

  • Commercially aware, with exposure to contracts, financing interfaces or EPC environments.

  • Comfortable working independently within a regional remit.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
