Senior Sales Manager – Power Conditioning Systems (PCS)

The Opportunity

A global Tier 1 power electronics and energy technology leader is seeking a Senior Sales Manager – PCS to drive growth across its energy storage (BESS) and power conversion solutions portfolio in Europe.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial leadership and technical solution selling, focused on delivering advanced power conditioning systems (PCS) across utility-scale and large C&I applications.

You will play a key role in expanding market share, engaging with senior stakeholders across developers, IPPs, utilities, and integrators, and positioning cutting-edge PCS solutions in a rapidly scaling BESS market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and sales execution for PCS solutions across targeted European markets
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles: from early-stage engagement through technical solution positioning to contract closure
  • Act as a technical-commercial interface, supporting customers on system design, performance optimisation, and integration (inverters, converters, BESS, grid)
  • Engage with developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs, and system integrators to identify and convert opportunities
  • Support project feasibility discussions, including system configuration, performance metrics, and commercial viability
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, product, and engineering teams to align solutions with market needs
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within PCS and energy storage
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities across utility-scale and C&I segments
  • Contribute to pricing strategy, forecasting, and revenue growth targets

Qualifications

  • ~10+ years’ experience within power electronics, PCS, inverters, or BESS
  • Strong track record in technical sales / solution sales within the renewable energy or energy storage sector
  • Solid understanding of PCS architecture, converters/inverters, and grid integration
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (technical & commercial)
  • Experience working with developers, IPPs, utilities, or EPC contractors
  • Commercially sharp with the ability to translate technical solutions into customer value and ROI
  • Background with a Tier 1 OEM, inverter manufacturer, or PCS provider is highly advantageous
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or similar
  • Fluent English (additional European languages are a plus)
