Technical Service Specialist

The Technical Service Specialist will act as a key technical liaison between the company and its customers in Italy. This role supports the sales team by delivering technical expertise, coordinating after-sales activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with sales managers to present the company’sPV solutions to customers across Italy
  • Provide strong technical support to the sales team through client and project site visits, gaining a deep understanding of system requirements
  • Prepare and present technical offers, advising customers on product specifications, system design, and performance considerations
  • Deliver product training to clients, ensuring correct usage and understanding of technical solutions
  • Organise customer training sessions in coordination with the sales team
  • Plan and deliver in house technical training sessions
  • Attend exhibitions, distributor roadshows, and industry events to represent the company and support product related technical discussions
  • Respond to specific technical enquiries related to PV systems, providing accurate documentation and technical support
  • Manage and coordinate after sales support activities to ensure smooth project implementation and high customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical support or specialist roles
  • Experience delivering customer facing technical presentations and training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and training sessions simultaneously
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel within Italy for client visits and events
