Project Developer – Solar & BESS

An exciting opportunity for a Project Developer to join a fast-growing investment and development company who are focusing on the developments of Solar & BESS Projects in the UK.

The Project Developer will help support and build out their growing pipeline of over 1GW of projects in the UK, with plans to expand throughout Europe.

The Role:

• Identify and assess potential solar and battery development opportunities in the UK and Northern Ireland.
• Collaborate with the Executive Management team to explore new avenues for growth and expansion.
• Lead project management from inception to a "Ready To Build" status
• Ensure timely delivery of all required agreements and permits, including those related to grid, legal, planning, and environmental consents.
• Coordinate external consultants to provide necessary support for Technical, Legal, and Planning processes.
• Negotiate legal documentation for each assigned project.
• Maintain open and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven track record in utility scale renewable projects (Solar & Storage)
• 3-5 years minimum experience
• Existing network would be beneficial
• Understanding of the key aspects of energy projects on a commercial & technical level
