Opportunity for an experienced Renewable Energy professional to take on the role of Project Manager, Energy Storage, within the US division of a leading international consultancy and advisory services firm.

The ES Project Manager will take on an holistic role, as the lead responsible for the delivery of the firm's energy storage projects throughout the United States.

This position can be based in any of the company's US offices, or worked remotely.


  • Management of assigned consulting, engineering, and testing projects
  • Manage team member responsibility and productivity
  • Meet deadlines and expectations of client
  • Ensure a high quality of work is maintained for all projects and portfolios
  • Lead teams assigned to the project, including internal and external personnel
  • Communicate with and report to the client effectively
  • Take full responsibility for projects assigned to you and related responsibilities
  • Perform business development duties as required, such as: representing the company in meetings, at conferences, and other events
  • Identify business opportunities and present commercial leads and prospects as identified
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals for business


  • Engineering or related degree level education
  • 4+ years' experience in the energy storage and/or solar industry
  • Experience across power electronics, consulting, engineering, construction and development
  • Strong energy storage knowledge preferred, including across: technology fundamentals, system design, components and control algorithms
  • Consulting experience advantageous
  • Experience working with permitting offices and inspectors will be highly regarded
  • Proficiency across MS Office and PC skills
  • Strong commercial knowledge and BD experience
  • Access to and understanding of the key companies in the market
  • Able to travel c. 20% of time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude; desire to get things done and be an effective team member
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including in project reporting
  • Spanish speaking and writing skills a plus
