OSS Expert LV & Electrical AUX Equipment for a major offshore wind farm in France


Responsibilities

  • The primary focus of the LV/AUX engineer is on low voltage (LV) topics related to all OSS platform systems.
  • During the tender stage, the LV/AUX engineer will act as a representative and assesses compliance of tender documentation to the Employer Requirements.
  • During the engineering design phase, the LV/AUX engineer shall review EPCIC contractor’s deliverables and respond to EPCIC contractor’s technical queries.
  • During fabrication and construction, the LV/AUX engineer may attend to Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and meetings at contractor’s premise.
  • the LV/aux engineer shall be to cooperate with multiple stake-holders, like tenderers, contractors, project members.
  • Responsible for technical analysis and follow-up of deliverables submitted by contractors for the EPCIC scope (from basic design through all engineering, construction and installation up to commissioning and start-up) and for O&M scopes,
  • Contribute to contractual matters, during the EPCIC implementation and O&M phases
  • Coordinating with the group of engineering experts, within the team or in other entities, working on several projects.

Requirements

  • Strong technical skills in overhead line development, design, and specification-or demonstrable transferable experience.
  • Familiarity with overhead line design software (e.g. PLS-CADD) is advantageous but not essential.
  • A technical degree or HND, with relevant experience in the field.
