Job Title: Senior Commercial (Contracts) Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Positions Overview
Responsible for post-order contract management, negotiation, claims handling, compliance oversight, and regional contract team leadership across the MENA region. The focus will be on transmission projects and renewables such as Wind.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full post-order contract management for regional renewable energy engineering projects, including after-sales service, warranty, and maintenance agreements.
- Lead customer negotiations related to contract execution, variations, claims, disputes, and compliance matters.
- Establish and optimize contract management frameworks, ensuring standardized and digitalized processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration (legal, finance, technical, operations) to support project lifecycle delivery.
- Monitor local and international regulatory and legal changes, implementing appropriate compliance and risk mitigation measures.
- Lead and develop the regional contract management team, building strong international contract capabilities.
- Support procurement in supplier contract negotiation and claims resolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Law, Engineering Management, International Trade or related disciplines preferred).
- 7+ years of international contract management experience in large engineering or renewable energy companies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in claims, dispute resolution, and team management.
- Strong understanding of multi-country legal and regulatory environments, particularly in the energy sector.
