Construction Manager

As the Engineering Lead, you will manage a team of 10+ senior engineers, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Design & Engineering. Your mission is to drive operational excellence within the engineering department. We are seeking a leader with a strong “Management Mindset” to optimize workflows, improve project delivery speeds, and mitigate cash flow pressures. You should be a proactive problem-solver who provides constructive strategic advice to senior management.
【Key Responsibilities】
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead and discipline a team of 10+ senior engineers; overcome existing management gaps by fostering a high-performance and positive work culture.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current engineering execution; implement improvements to accelerate project timelines and optimize company cash flow.
- Project Execution: Oversee UPS/Power Backup project planning, resource allocation, on-site construction scheduling, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) compliance.
- Technical Governance: Review power distribution and construction drawings; lead critical system testing (Load Test, Switchover, and Parallel testing) and finalize acceptance reports.
- Technical Troubleshooting & SOPs: Lead the resolution of critical site failures; establish Preventative Maintenance (PM) protocols and technical Standard Operating Procedures.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Provide regular progress updates and strategic recommendations to the Senior Manager; coordinate technical requirements with sales, clients, and subcontractors.
【Requirements】
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in the industry, including at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in UPS or critical power systems.
- Leadership: 5+ years of experience in leading engineering teams. Proven ability to manage senior technical staff and improve team efficiency.
- Core Attributes: Strong leadership with a positive mindset. Ability to provide “solutions over complaints” to senior management. High awareness of operational efficiency and its impact on cash flow.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in UPS installation, testing, troubleshooting, and project acceptance processes.
