A global leader in data centre solutions is seeking an experienced Critical Facility Manager to oversee operations at a key client site in Japan.

Role Overview
The Critical Facility Manager will lead a team of 4-5 members, ensure uninterrupted facility uptimeuptime, manage critical infrastructure, and drive long-term client satisfaction.
This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the capability to manage complex technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team handling technical, building, and critical facilities maintenance
* Build strong client relationships and support business growth
* Ensure full compliance with operational standards and contractual requirements
* Plan, document, and execute work with high precision
* Identify strategic opportunities and support contract retention
* Oversee staff management: shift planning, coaching, development, and recruitment
* Manage critical infrastructure operations and ensure 100% uptime
uptime * Take financial ownership, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
* Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain quality and performance
Requirements
* *Japanesenative (for foreigners: N2business-level Japanese proficiency)
* Strong technical background (electrical, mechanical, or related fields)
* Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
* Preferably experienced in mission-critical facilities
* Able to manage diverse responsibilities with a flexible, proactive mindset
