Role Overview
Reporting to the Project Lead, this position is responsible for steering the functional evolution, optimization, and governance of the company’s computerized maintenance management platform supporting offshore wind operations.
The role ensures that system developments delivered by external providers meet operational expectations, compliance standards, and long-term asset management objectives. It requires close coordination with internal operational teams and software partners to guarantee effective implementation, adoption, and continuous system enhancement.
Core Responsibilities
System Ownership & Functional Governance

Act as the internal reference point for CMMS functional evolution and system performance.

Gather, structure, and prioritize operational needs related to maintenance management.

Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendors.

Review proposed system configurations and approve releases prior to deployment.

Ensure alignment between system capabilities and maintenance strategy.
Vendor Coordination & Development Monitoring

Serve as the primary liaison with the CMMS provider regarding upgrades and developments.

Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and development roadmaps.

Validate technical outputs against agreed specifications.

Coordinate testing cycles, including user acceptance validation.
Operational Process Alignment

Analyse maintenance workflows to identify optimization opportunities.

Ensure digital processes reflect real operational practices and regulatory constraints.

Facilitate integration of maintenance data into operational decision-making.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Integration

Promote automation initiatives and system interoperability with other platforms such as SCADA, ERP, or business intelligence tools.

Contribute to broader digital transformation initiatives within asset management.

Prepare the system framework to support future offshore wind developments.
Performance Optimization

Monitor system efficiency, reliability, and user experience.

Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives where necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Support

Collect feedback from operational teams and translate it into improvement actions.

Support communication and adoption of system updates.

Ensure consistency between system evolution, training materials, and operational roll-out.
Required Experience

Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

Several years’ experience working with maintenance management systems in industrial or energy environments.

Exposure to renewable energy, utilities, offshore wind, or asset-intensive industries is advantageous.

Proven experience interacting with software vendors and managing system development cycles.

Background in system testing, validation, or deployment projects.
Technical Knowledge

Strong familiarity with CMMS or EAM solutions (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, IFS or equivalent).

Understanding of asset data structures, maintenance workflows, and KPIs.

Experience with system integrations involving operational or business platforms.

Awareness of offshore wind operational contexts is beneficial.
