Project Manager for a major Offshore Wind Project based in Germany
Responsibilities
- Project development with a focus on approval planning in cooperation with internal specialist departments, project managers, external consulting firms, and other service providers.
- Early involvement in the planning concept as a sparring partner for project managers.
- Preparation of application documents in consultation with approval authorities.
- Supporting the project during the application process with the authorities with the aim of obtaining approval.
- Commissioning and coordination of expert reports.
- Regular reporting on the status of projects.
- Assessment of project risks, communication with internal interfaces and external stakeholders.
- Management of additional requirements in the application process.
- Creation of a register of ancillary provisions and tracking of items to be processed by the specialist.
EXPERIENCE
- Completed (technical) university degree in renewable energies, environmental sciences, industrial engineering, administrative law, or proven equivalent skills or knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), construction planning law, building law, and related areas of law is an advantage.
- Practical experience in the application of project management tools is an advantage, but not essential.
- Confident manner & fluent German skills.
- High degree of personal responsibility and motivation.
- Ability to work in a team and a structured, well-organized approach to work.
- Professional experience in the wind energy industry is an advantage, but not essential.
- Confident in using MS Office, ELIA if applicable.
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel on business
