Senior Project Engineer – Cables for a major Offshore Wind Project based in The Netherlands
Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, and approve technical documentation for project design phases, ensuring adherence to standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Monitor and control costs during project execution.
- Plan and execute all assigned tasks on time, safely, efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively.
- Manage vendors and contractors onsite, analyze potential risks, and recommend actions to mitigate issues related to construction (EHS, manpower, logistics).
- Monitor installation processes
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in Project Engineering in a marine environment.
- In-depth understanding of dredging operations and vessel management.
- In depth trenching experience needed as well as cable installation
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to marine, civil engineering.
