Taylor Hopkinson is working with a leading design and manufacturing company in Germany to recruit a Systems Engineer who will be involved in developing technical solutions for wind and e-mobility, working closely with customers and creating and maintaining lists and drawings. This will include defining components and relevant testing.
This is a full-time staff role based in Salzbergen with hybrid working 3 days week in the office.
Role:
- Developing constructive solutions for products in the wind industry and electromobility sector, working closely with customers
- Creating and implementing technical lists, taking into account the numbering system and product-specific features
- Creating, expanding and modifying ECAD drawings using the EPLAN programme
- Supporting the training of technical system planners
- Technical support for sales from acquisition to acceptance
- Clarification of detailed concepts
- Optimisation of existing products
- Development of design solutions for retrofit packages according to customer requirements and as replacements for discontinued products
- Specification of components and manufacturing processes
- Initiation of trials and tests
- Programming according to IEC61131
Requirements:
- Degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in electrical engineering, engineering or comparable qualification
- Practical experience in the wind industry, ideally in the field of pitch systems
- Programming experience with IEC61131 (PLC)
- High level of customer focus
- High level of self-motivation, results-oriented, strong organisational and teamwork skills
- Business fluent written and spoken German and English
- Results driven with a strategic mindset and customer focus
- Effective communicator
- IT literate and able to use data to drive quality decision-making
