Taylor Hopkinson and Brunel have launched the second Fact to the Future report, examining the trends, attitudes and changes shaping renewables in 2024.
Building on the success of the first report, this latest edition delves deeper into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector right now. From creating more jobs and opportunities in renewable energy to AI, digital transformation, and the need for more investment, we’ve uncovered useful insights that are interesting and important for professionals at every level.
The report was compiled based on responses from thousands of professionals. Key insights include:
- 88% of those working in renewables agree the industry needs fresh talent to achieve its goals
- 59% are concerned that AI and automation could lead to fewer opportunities
- 43% of professionals say creating more jobs and attracting diverse talent is the industry’s number one priority.
“Fact to the Future was created to take the temperature of an industry that’s vital for the future of our planet,” says Fiona McRae, General Manager at Taylor Hopkinson. “Its insights will help businesses that work in renewables to stay ahead of trends, retain their best people, and plan for the future.”
