Managing Director – Italy

Taylor Hopkinson has been retained by a leading European renewable energy group to recruit the next Managing Director in Italy for its O&M Services company, managing +1GW solar and onshore wind portfolio.

Being based in Rome, the Managing Director will oversee the general business management in the country.

The Role

• Lead all the business areas (technical, commercial, operational, financial, business development, among others) along with the specific teams for each one
• Act in accordance with lawful requests, instructions, and directions given by the Board
• Accomplish activities related to the Group as requested by the Board
• Drive business development and expansion in Italy
• Lead the process of digitalisation and continuous corporate optimisation of the company to keep it at the forefront of the market

Requirements

• University degree
• Outstanding knowledge in the Italian asset management/ O&M market for renewable energies
• Deep knowledge of general renewable energy market players, trends, challenges, and opportunities
• Proven experience in a management position within the renewable energy service business
• Fluency in English and Italian is mandatory (both spoken and written)
