Since 2016, Taylor Hopkinson has worked in close partnership with DEME to supply high-calibre cable crews for offshore wind projects across Germany and Belgium, including Merkur, Rentel, Seastar, and Northwester II. Our Offshore Cables team has delivered over 500 skilled professionals to support critical scopes – from cable loading and laying to PLGR, HV jointing, and final testing. Since 2014, Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with Jan De Nul to deliver specialist cable crews for offshore wind and power transmission projects worldwide, including Race Bank, Gwynt y Môr, and Formosa II. From the UK to Qatar, our Offshore Cables team has delivered over 700 specialists on a wide range of critical scopes including cable loading, laying, burial, PLGR, HV jointing, and more. Our global reach alongside Brunel and fast mobilisation capabilities ensure Jan De Nul’s vessels always have the right expertise on board, exactly when it’s needed. Taylor Hopkinson was selected by Dutch grid operator TenneT as the exclusive supplier of all cable EORs for the COBRAcable interconnector project, linking the Netherlands and Denmark via 330km of HVDC cable. Supporting our client across every stage – from cable load-out and transpooling to burial, HV jointing, and UXO clearance – we provided fully vetted crews with zero HSE incidents and a 100% retention rate. With 24/7 availability, full compliance management, and rapid mobilisation, we ensured seamless delivery and zero downtime. For several years, Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with Tideway, a subsidiary of DEME Group, to deliver specialist personnel for cable installation, burial, pull-ins, and HV jointing and testing across Europe. As the main supplier of HV jointing teams on the Merkur Wind Farm, we helped complete the project two months ahead of schedule and within budget. Managing everything from candidate vetting to crew logistics, compliance, and 24/7 support, we supplied over 150 contractors across four major projects. With rapid mobilisation, zero downtime, and full operational oversight, Tideway relied on us to keep projects running smoothly — on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
