Electrical Instrumentation Commissioning supervisor required by a leading offshore wind farm developer for a 12 month contract based in Taiwan. You will be based offshore, responsible for the commissioning of the offshore substation. The position is 2 weeks offshore 2 weeks onshore rotation, plus working in Singapore for 2 months between 15.08.21 - 15.10.21

Job role

  • Quality control during installation of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Quality control during testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Reporting to superior on progress and quality
  • Coordination of suppliers
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Based offshore on Offshore Substation (OSS)

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineer or electrical technician
  • Extensive general experience with the installation and commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Moderate experience with the installation and commissioning of electrical and mechanical equipment on offshore substation in wind industry or similar
  • Moderate offshore experience in similar capacity
  • Excellent coordination skill
  • Fluent in English - verbal and written
  • Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin - verbal and written
  • Work permit in Taiwan
  • Work permit in Singapore
  • GWO course certificates (5 certificates)
  • Medical test
  • Chester step test
  • Any other certificate required for the position by the legislation
  • iPhone (6 or higher)
  • Laptop
  • Head phones
