Opportunity for a senior solar sales professional to join a global leading solar mounting system company in Spain. As General Manager you will be leading and building the team across the country and Europe.

This is a remote working position.

Role:

  • Manages the sales function in Europe and actively seeks and secures new sales opportunities.
  • Target to fulfill sales target as established within Europe
  • Develops and grows relations with diverse public and private sector partners and stakeholders.
  • Accomplish subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and by making mid-course corrections.
  • Develops (with HQ and Europe teams) the overall vision and culture of the Europe office, including marketing, publicity/press relations, government relations, etc.
  • Work closely with cross-regional teams to ensure leads and accounts have received proper management.
  • Overseas day to day Europe business operations
  • Increase management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, training, coaching, counseling his/her sales team Candidate Profile.

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record as business development or sales in solar industry is necessary
  • Over 8 years of team management experience is required
  • Over 6 years of sales / BD experience in Solar Industry is required
  • Exceptional team management, organization and internal/external communication skills.
  • Mechanical & Electrical background would be plus point
  • At least Bachelor degree, and degree in Master/MBA would be plus point
  • Exceptional team management, organization and internal/external communication skills.
  • A broad knowledge of large contract negotiation processes in addition to budgeting, management, and accounting principles as well as an understanding of solar-energy best practices.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Fluent in Mandarin would be plus point
