Portfolio Manager – Madrid

Taylor Hopkinson is looking for a Portfolio Manager for an important company in the renewable energy sector, with presence in different countries.

The position is based in Madrid.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the development projects in the portfolio and review and control external Technical Due Diligence advisors and Technical Advisors.
• Oversee the construction projects, EPC, property engineering, and commissioning process.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project progress and any issues or risks that may arise.
• Continuously improve project management processes and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 2 years of experience in the construction of photovoltaic parks and experience in the design and engineering of photovoltaic plants, substations, and high-voltage lines.
• Solid knowledge of photovoltaic technology, with knowledge of other technologies such as wind, biogas, storage, and hydrogen being desirable.
• Experience in the development of renewable plants in Spain.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
