Financial Reporting
| Drive and lead the group reporting agenda, covering board reporting and other sponsor related matters.
| Maintain cohesive partnerships with key Finance contacts within the sponsor group to manage financial reporting deliverables and risks
| Partner with the CFO to build and foster an effective Finance centre of excellence within India, Bangalore, covering financial reporting and tax compliance across all companies within the group, spanning Singapore, Malaysia, India, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia and some pacific island countries.
| Embed an effective partnership model with Accounting and Tax advisors to ensure in-country compliance
| Embed a partnership mindset together with in-country Finance business partners, to support all relevant project development, construction and operational needs.
| Manage the capital adequacy of all entities, and drive the capitalization program with an informed position on project developments and requirements
| Own and lead the Finance reporting and tax calendar, ensuring activities are appropriately planned
| Ensure tight monitoring of FX Accounting exposure and appropriate mitigants are applied
| Be the lead liaison for Audit
Transfer Pricing
| Support the CFO in embedding an appropriate transfer pricing framework, practices and disciplines
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
| Oversee and own the business processes and Finance systems to efficiently monitor and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Finance Systems
| Own the administration and strategic application of the group's general ledger and consolidation system
| Help drive the Finance transformation agenda, by continuously challenging the status quo and streamline systems and processes
| Deliver efficiencies and a "best in class" experience to all stakeholders across the group
People
| Lead a mid-sized team of 17 finance professionals, providing financial control oversight, by effectively managing operational handoffs with all relevant outsourced service providers
| Demonstrate strong stakeholder management with country and business line heads through periodic strategy reviews
Your skills and personal traits:
| A qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CPA) with over 15 years experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading senior stakeholders through strategic reviews and presentations
| Has had a strong grounding in legal entity reporting, managed tax compliance, and is able to digest and apply technical Accounting and Tax advice
| Able to build effective relationships across organizational boundaries
| A strong and effective communicator, with an innate ability to distill information into an easily digestible format for consumption by senior stakeholders
| A self-starter with a strategic mindset, able to fluidly transition from transactional level topics to strategic thinking
| Able to participate in molding the Finance function into the desired target operating model
| Proficient in MS-Office suite (MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
