A Head of Operations and Asset Management is required to join a leading multi-technology (solar, wind and energy storage) asset owner in the renewables space to develop and integrate the existing asset management function. The role will focus on maximising the availability and performance of a significant portfolio of assets.

The role:

  • Coordination of overall asset management strategy to maximise up-time and availability of assets
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and management framework, delivering improvements as needed/identified
  • Work with internal and external teams to deliver on integration activities for new assets joining the portfolio
  • Creation and delivery of accurate information required for decision making and reporting
  • Advise and work with the board and senior management on matters related to asset management
  • Team management of the asset and technical management team, setting KPIs and deliverables

The candidate:

  • Significant asset management experience in the renewable energy sector with exposure to a range of assets across wind, solar and storage
  • Solid understanding of the functioning and cost trends of the technology
  • Experience of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve objectives and goals related to asset performance
  • Effective communicator with gravitas and ability to speak to internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels and technical abilities
