We are exclusively supporting one of the world's leading renewable energy companies in its search for an M&A Manager for the EMEA region.

The M&A Manager will play a critical role in assessing potential pipeline and exit market conditions across each market of interest, to guide project development activities and ambitions throughout the EMEA region. This individual will bring an exceptional knowledge of the PV industry and understanding of PV systems, along with experience negotiating, reviewing and managing key project contracts.

The Role:

  • Review internal project documents to ensure assets meet the highest level of standards, while maximise transaction profitability
  • Collaborate effectively across the company's EMEA business divisions, including Project Finance, Engineering, Business Development and Legal, to ensure transactions progress quickly and efficiently to meet and exceed budgetary forecasts
  • Lead sounding exercises for each target market to assess pipeline potential and exit market conditions, used to drive company project development activities and ambition
  • Develop and deliver investment decks and financial models to assess portfolio valuations and inform Investment Committee review
  • Manage virtual data rooms throughout the due diligence process, coordinating with investors, legal, financial and TAs, DNOs, EPC contractors, Asset/Project Managers and O&M contractors

The Requirements:

  • Min. Degree level education in Management, Business, Engineering, Law or related sector; Master's level degree preferred
  • High level of spoke and written English language skills; Spanish and Italian advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of Solar PV systems and Solar PV market
  • Proven transaction experience within Tier 1 PV space, ideally for international company/business
  • Strong M&A capabilities and demonstrable experience
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiating, reviewing and managing fundamental contracts related to projects (e.g. Grid Connection, PPA, O&M and Asset Management, and EPC)
  • Financial modelling and valuation experience a plus
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • International/multinational mindset
